DAVID PATRICK MURPHY
David Patrick Murphy is the former lead singer/songwriter of the Southern Rock Band Jesse & The Gunslingers. The Gunslingers were active from 1980-1992, initially called Looker. The Band released 3 albums and toured extensively before disbanding in 1992. Murphy recorded two solo albums, Electric Campfire in 1998 and Rattlesnake Highway in 2001, before forming the Black River Band, and hooking up with Producer Duncan Holt. From 2004-2022 Holt and Murphy recorded the albums Adoria, Jordan Station, Hard Desire, Hillbilly Harvest, and Stoned World on Fugue Records. Later in 2022, Murphy released the album Murfstock, which was made up of tracks leftover from his previous albums. 2023 saw the release of a Best Of Compilation, and a package titled The Gunslinger Years, a compilation album made up of Jesse And The Gunslingers songs. In 2024 Murphy released his latest album Crawling Out Of Eden, recorded at Summit Sound in Westport Ontario
